Repurposed Outdoor Potting Table

As much as I love thrifting and spending my free time combing through secondhand shops, nothing beats a spontaneous roadside furniture find. A curb alert, if you will.

A few weeks ago I came home on my lunch break and spied this table in a neighbor’s front yard. I casually mentioned to John that I thought it would be great piece for our backyard and the next thing I know, I see him crossing the street with the table hoisted over his head. (Speaking my acts of service love language like a CHAMP.)

I knew I wanted it to go outside under the dining room window so I could add a little greenery to our view. I’ve been collecting thrifted pots and other vessels for years and now I have the perfect place to display them! I’m also planning on using this table as a drink station for all the imaginary parties I’m throwing in my mind.

Speaking of secondhand scores, this bird feeder was a $5 thrift find and it’s brought us so much joy to watch birds pop in and out all day long. Plus, I’m always after a good pop of yellow in every space.

Keep your eyes open out there, guys! You never know where the road will take you.
