At a recent estate sale, I snagged this basic bulletin board for a few bucks knowing it would be perfect for Briar’s desk. I also knew I could upgrade it a bit using inspiration from this colorful office space.

It’s hard to believe it but the baby that was never going to arrive (born at 42 weeks) is now seven years old. Being in the thick of early motherhood was intense. And now that I’m seven years out, I’m able to reflect on how far we’ve come.
